Artists Statement
Somethings I remember all the time, they are objects that have a special story to me, or simply because their look caught my eyes. This work is a bibliography of myself, it shows to the what I see in life, and the way they change to mean something special. They are fragments of Gedächtnis, memory, imprinted upon myself.
I experimented with graphic and mixed media through this piece, but also explored the changes and differences between my memory and the real life. I revisited the collection of photos, sketches, doodles, real life objects that I have collected in the past, they became vital source materials for my work. I wanted to create a multimedia/ mixed media work centred around digital art and graphic design as a mean of presenting myself. The art work combined imagery, real life texture, hand drawn illustrations, and digital graphic together.
